This Klein Circuit Breaker Finder is the test kit we use for checking and disconnecting the power for outdoor outlets.  This kit will help you isolate the breaker for the outlet so you can turn it of while cleaning and avoid damaging the outlet.  Be sure to still follow proper protection by covering and taping off the oultet, and let the outlet completely dry before restoring power to the outlet.
