Let the Chemical Work

The key to professional graffiti removal is understanding that your pressure washer should not be doing all the work.I normally apply Bare Brick with a nylon paint brush or soft-bristle brush. The recommended process is to flood coat the graffiti, allow about three minutes of dwell time, and repeat the application. I normally make three applications, allowing approximately three minutes between each one. The important thing is keeping the graffiti wet with the product and giving the chemical enough time to break down the paint.

Rinse With Controlled Pressure

Once the chemical has done its job, I rinse using approximately 1,500–2,000 PSI. I prefer hot water when it is available because it can help with the removal process. However, I have also completed jobs where cold water worked just fine. Don’t make the mistake of increasing pressure or moving your nozzle extremely close because the graffiti isn’t coming off fast enough. More chemical or additional dwell time may be the better answer.
